Salespersons must complete their continuing education by February 28, 2024.
Brokers must complete their continuing education by September 30, 2024.

Course Descriptions:

CT Real Estate Agency Law (Mandatory class) – 3 hours
2024 Mandatory Continuing Education class covers various laws and regulations that all Connecticut licensed salespersons and brokers should know and follow. Yes, it’s mandatory. But, we make this one fun, too.

Code of Ethics (Elective but required by NAR every 3 years) – 3 hours
This is the National Association of REALTORS’® biennial Ethics course, which is required to be completed by all REALTORS® by December 31, 2018.  This course, when taken with us, will also qualify for three hours of elective CE credit.

How to Value a Home (Elective) – 3 hours
A hands-on look at how to value a home in today’s market, including the preparation of a market analysis and how to make adjustments to comparable sales. You will leave this class with a fully completed market analysis, understanding market values along with the skills needed to price homes right the first time. Our most popular class, with many people repeating every two years.

Working with Rentals (Elective) – 3 hours
An informative overview and round-table discussion of the forms and processes utilized when representing landlords and/or tenants. Bring your questions and concerns and we’ll discuss them, too. It sounds boring, but it’s not!

Working with Sellers (Elective) – 3 hours
A look at all aspects of Seller representation, including prospecting for sellers, property research, the listing meeting, marketing and negotiation.  This is a participatory class, so be sure to bring your questions and your real life concerns.

Working with Buyers (Elective) – 3 hours
A collaborative discussion on the representation of buyer clients in real estate.  We will cover buyers from start to finish, from prospecting to buyer representation, from showing homes to writing offers, and following up with successful negotiation. Q&A is encouraged throughout the class.

Treat yourself to a visual feast of Canadian homes on HomesEh.ca. From quaint cottages to urban lofts, explore them all.

Buyer Counseling Session (Elective) – 3 hours
The lost art of the buyer counseling session is covered from beginning to end.  Learn how to begin the process of working with buyer clients on the right note, to lead to an educated buyer and a closed transaction.
